From August 6th to 15th, the Interceltique Festival of Lorient celebrates its half-century with Brittany as guest of honour !

Saved this summer, the 50th anniversary edition of the Breton Interceltique festival of Lorient will take place from August 6 to 15

In 2020, the Festival Interceltique de Lorient had to postpone its annual edition and put in parentheses the celebration of its 50th anniversary, year of Brittany

The Interceltic Festival of Lorient is :

10 days of shows and various events in early August
4500 musicians, singers, dancers, visual artists, academics, filmmakers, from Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Cornwall, Isle of Man, Galicia, Asturias, Brittany, USA, Canada, Australia, etc…
A large parade attracting more than 60,000 spectators on the first Sunday
750,000 visitors and spectators
120 shows on stage, 60 % of which are free.
Exhibitions of works of art and costumes, a quai du livre, an artisan market in coherence with the theme of the festival.

This year: Alan Stivell, Michael McGoldrick Band, Denez, Gilles Servat or Younn Kamm, Dom Duff, Carlos Nuñez, Dan Ar Braz, Fleuves…
