CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The North Carolina women’s tennis team participated in the 49er Invitational Oct. 8-10 from the Halton-Wagner Tennis Complex.
Kacie Harvey and Sara McClure both picked up a pair of singles victories, while freshmen Carson Tanguilig and Lindsay Zink each recorded one singles win against teams from Charlotte, Clemson and Columbia.
In doubles, Tanguilig earned a pair of wins, playing once with Harvey in a victory over Columbia and teamed up with Zink in a win over the Tigers.
Carolina returns to action at the ITA Regional Championships Oct. 21-25 in Winston-Salem, N.C.
