The Kid LAROI Parts Ways With Lil Bibby &amp

During his early career, singer/rapper The Kid LAROI was closely associated with Juice WRLD’s legacy. Having worked alongside the late Chicago artist for years, the Australian teenager achieved his first #1 record and signed to Grade A Productions, the record label founded by Lil Bibby and G-Money. In a previous interview with HotNewHipHop, LAROI spoke highly of his relationship with Grade A and praised his partnership with G-Money. However, recent developments indicate that the once fruitful collaboration has soured, as LAROI signed a new deal a few months ago and is reportedly no longer associated with Grade A.

In June, news broke that the “Stay” singer had entered into an agreement with Scooter Braun’s management company, joining the ranks of artists like Justin Bieber who have worked with the renowned music executive. This shift seemingly marked the end of LAROI’s affiliation with Grade A, as confirmed in his recent cover story with Billboard, penned by Josh Glicksman.

During the Billboard interview, Glicksman inquired about the reasons behind the deteriorated relationship between LAROI and Grade A. However, Columbia, LAROI’s label, declined to comment on the matter. Peter Jideonwo, a partner at Grade A who had a close connection with LAROI in the past, allegedly ignored interview requests from Billboard. When LAROI was asked about Grade A, he simply stated, “We won’t talk about them.” The question regarding his relationship with Lil Bibby was cut short by LAROI’s publicist, preventing him from responding.

It is hoped that LAROI maintains amicable terms with his former business partners. If any further information emerges regarding the reasons behind their strained relationship, we will provide updates.
